Academic Eligibility/ Probation
Eligibility
To be eligible to particpate in interscholastic athletics, a student at Livermore High School must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Have a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 or higher in the preceding academic semester.
- Be eligible according to CIF.
- Have a current physical form on file.
- Complete the athletic registration process.
A student must meet the above criteria or they will not be allowed to participate in any practices, scrimmages, or contests. A student who fails to satisfy criteria #1 above is academically ineligible for participation in contests or scrimmages. Students who are academically ineligible may apply for a one-time probation.
Probation
If a student has a grade point average below 2.0; he or she can apply for a one time probationary period of one quarter. The parents of the student must complete the Probation Application and submit it to the Athletic Director requesting the probationary period and stating the reasons for the request. A student may only have one probation period during high school. The request will be reviewed and the parents will be notified if the probationary period is granted.

Team Conduct Information
Letterman Jacket Requirements
Livermore High School has a process for the distribution of Varsity Letters and Other Jacket items. Freshmen and JV athletes will receive a Certificate of Completion at the completion of the season. First Time Varsity Athletes will receive a Block Letter, Graduation Numbers, and a sport insert. Second time Varsity Athletes will receive an additional insert of the jacket. Three year Varsity athletes will receive a shadow block and an additional insert for jacket.
